ALABAMA GUARDIANSHIP ASSOCIATION (AGA)
AGA advocates that guardianship should only be used as a last resort, and that all other alternatives be used whenever possible.
AGA is governed by a board of directors who carry out its mission; This diverse group provides an unprecedented exchange of information and ideas to enable groups and individuals to provide the highest quality guardianship and other protective services.
AGA provides education and training featuring topics of immediate concern to practitioners and is offered through presentation by expert speakers, round table discussions, debates and networking. The sessions bring together multiple disciplines of persons interested in upgrading their skills and knowledge at an affordable cost.
AGA provides members with a membership certificate and membership list on an annual basis. This valuable tool provides names, addresses and phone numbers of fellow AGA members. Members have found this list valuable for networking, communicating and seeking assistance with services from other areas of the state.
